Got Water?  I know this phrase has been played out for a number of years originating back to an old Milk slogan, but I still get a kick out of how simple the question is.  I proposed this quandary about water because it's an ongoing issue and one of much debate and concern since the west was wild and one that still remains today.  That's why I'm reaching out to fellow residents of Colorado and specifically Castle Pines to get involved and learn what our Castle Pines Metro District lead by Director Jim Nikkel is trying to accomplish in making sure our community has an ample water supply for many years to come.  Please go to the district's website to get a better understanding of the issues at hand and how support from the entire community is encouraged and needed to maintain a good quality of life on the hill, higher property values,, lower taxes and renewable water.  http://www.cpnmd.org  Here's the quick version of what matters about this topic and why it's so important.   https://cpnmd.org/uploads/FiveFastFacts-RenewableWaterJan2018.pdf

Of course if you have time to go through the Metro District's array of helpful information you will walk away a bit more informed and hopefully more willing to make sure we "got water" for many generations to come.  The bottom line, if we as a community open our minds to the changes affecting the expansion of Colorado wether we like it or not we can influence how we grow in the most sustainable way possible.
